At RockWell Homes, we believe building homes is only part of what it means to serve a
community. A home represents stability, growth, and the foundation where
families begin their lives together. However, for many families, access to
basic essentials like diapers and wipes remains a daily challenge.
That is why we are proud to partner with HomeAid Orlando for
the 2026 Builders for Babies Diaper Drive. This initiative brings together
builders, businesses, and local organizations across Central Florida to help
provide essential baby care items to families experiencing financial hardship.
Through this partnership, RockWell Homes is helping support a campaign centered
on dignity, care, and early childhood well-being.
The Builders for Babies Diaper Drive is one of Central Florida’s largest diaper donation initiatives, supporting families across the Orlando region with critical infant care essentials.
Supporting Families Through the Builders for Babies
Diaper Drive
This effort is more than a donation drive. It is a community-wide movement that brings together builders, businesses, and local supporters with a shared goal of helping children and caregivers during some of life’s most critical early stages. As RockWell Homes joins this initiative, we are excited to invite our homeowners, partners, and community to take part in something meaningful, impactful, and lasting.
Growth and Impact of the Builders for Babies Campaign
The Builders for Babies Diaper Drive has grown tremendously
in just a few short years. What began in 2020 as a small but powerful effort
resulted in 8,000 diapers collected through HomeAid Orlando’s network of teams
and donors. That early success made a meaningful difference for countless
families, and the momentum continued to grow. By 2025, the campaign had
expanded significantly, with 32 teams coming together to raise over 1 million
diapers. That milestone
demonstrated what is possible when a community unites around a shared purpose.
2026 Goal: One Million Baby Care Items for Central
Florida Families
In 2026, HomeAid Orlando and its community partners are
working toward collecting one million essential baby care items to support
families throughout Central Florida. Donations gathered during the campaign
will help provide diapers and wipes to local nonprofit organizations serving
parents and caregivers experiencing financial hardship.
This year’s beneficiaries include The Central Florida Diaper
Bank, Jewish Family Services, Christian Service Center, and The Sharing Center.
These organizations work on the front lines to provide assistance to families
experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, or unexpected life
challenges. Through partnerships with these nonprofit organizations, donations
are distributed efficiently and directed to families who need them most.
The
need for diapers is often overlooked, yet it is a critical issue
affecting families across the country. Diapers are not covered by most
government assistance programs, leaving many parents to make difficult choices
between purchasing diapers and covering other essential expenses. A lack of access
to clean diapers can lead to health concerns for infants and added stress for
caregivers. By participating in this diaper drive, RockWell Homes and its
partners are helping to close that gap and provide tangible support to families
in need.
Campaign Timeline: Key Dates for the 2026 Diaper Drive
The
2026 campaign was thoughtfully designed to maximize participation and community
impact. It began with the Team Kickoff on April 22, 2026, at GOBA. As
participating organizations continue their involvement in the campaign,
designated team leaders are helping coordinate fundraising efforts, encourage
employee and community participation, organize donations, and maintain
engagement throughout the drive. Their leadership helps create momentum and
keeps each team connected to the overall mission of supporting local families.
Fundraising officially began on May 10, 2026, which
coincided with Mother’s Day. The Mother’s Day launch highlights the importance
of supporting mothers and caregivers who work tirelessly to provide for their
children. It serves as a reminder that even small acts of generosity can have a
meaningful impact on families navigating difficult circumstances.
The campaign concludes on June 19, 2026, with the Counts and
Wrap Up Rally at Florida Paints Winter Garden. This event brings together
participating teams to celebrate their efforts, recognize contributions, and
reveal the total number of items collected. The event celebrates the meaningful impact made possible
when a community unites and takes action together.
RockWell Homes’ Commitment to Community Impact
RockWell Homes is proud to play an active role in this
initiative. As a homebuilder, we understand the importance of creating spaces
where families can thrive. Supporting the Builders for Babies Diaper Drive
aligns naturally with our mission and values. Throughout the campaign, we will
be engaging our team, encouraging participation, and sharing updates to keep
our community informed and inspired.
Our involvement includes raising awareness through social media, encouraging community donations, and connecting with our network to expand the campaign’s reach. We are committed to helping drive momentum toward the 1 million item goal and ensuring that as many families as possible benefit from this initiative.
How to Get Involved in the Diaper Drive
Community involvement is at the heart of this campaign, and
there are many ways to participate. Donations can be made directly through the
Builders for Babies fundraising platform, making it easy for individuals and
organizations to contribute. Whether
it is a small contribution or a larger donation, every item collected helps
make a difference.
In addition to donating, community members can support the
campaign by spreading the word. Sharing information on social media, engaging
with posts, and encouraging others to get involved are simple yet powerful ways
to amplify the impact. The
more awareness the initiative receives, the greater the opportunity to meet and
exceed the campaign’s goal.
Social Media Awareness and Campaign Engagement
Community awareness and online engagement are important
parts of the campaign’s success. Throughout the drive, supporters are
encouraged to share updates, promote donation opportunities, and help spread
awareness across social media platforms to inspire additional involvement from
the community. Using hashtags such as #homeaidorlando, #HAOdiaperdrive,
#buildersforbabies, #diaperneed, and #RockWellHomes helps create visibility and
connect posts across platforms.
Stay Connected With HomeAid Orlando
For those who want to stay connected and follow the
campaign’s progress, HomeAid Orlando is active on Facebook, Instagram, and
LinkedIn. These platforms provide updates, highlight participating teams, and
share stories that demonstrate the real impact of the donations being
